P.O.D. Election Day

The P.O.D. that Mr. Kunkle shared with us was called Election Day and I thought it was really inspiring. I thought it was really powerful because it talked about change and how we can better our country on this new day with a new president. I believe Barack Obama can really make a change and a difference in our society if we stand by him and help him clean up the mess that George Bush has created. It's a new day and a new start, which our country could really use right about now.

As a new voter it was really cool to be apart of such a historical and important election. I think it was time to get a new president that wasn't white and a man, it's the 20 first century and it's time to get out of the past and change it up. I think having a black man president is an awesome first step for our country and hopefully it will be a great new outlook on what our country can become. Now that we have a different persons point of view other then the white man, maybe that will be good and he can make changes that they never saw or cared about.

Another thing I think we really needed was a democratic in office because look what Bush did while he was in office. Bill Clinton had just finished his eight years in office and while he was in there he really made changes, cleaned up our coutnry, and got us some what out of debt. But then Bush put us right back in to a HUGE amount of debt. Hopefully having another democratic president in office, he will be able to do the same thing because there the only ones that seem to be able to do anything.
